Roaarrr ChallengeJe n’en ai pas terminé avec les nominés 2012. Passons aux Eisner Awards et avant toute chose, je vous parlerais des bonnes nouvelles.

Ainsi, Emile Bravo est nommé dans la catégorie « Best Publication for Early Readers » avec Boucle d’Or et les sept ours nains (Beauty and the Squat Bears – Yen Press) paru initialement en 2004 tandis que L’ours Barnabé (Benjamin Bear in Fuzzy Thinking – Candlewick/Toon Books) vaut une citation à Philippe Coudray.

Renaud Dillies est sélectionné dans la prestigieuse catégorie « Best Graphic Album » avec Bulles & Nacelle (Bubbles & Gondola – NBM). Il est également présent dans la catégorie « Best U.S. Edition of International Material » avec le même album en compagnie de L’île aux 100.000 morts de Vehlmann et Jason (Isle of 100,000 Graves – Fantagraphics) et La Position du tireur couché de Tardi et Manchette (Like a Sniper Lining Up His Shot – Fantagraphics). A noter, au côté de Manara, que la même catégorie accueille l’excellent Brecht Evens.

Enfin, dans la catégorie « Best Comics-Related Book », Marzena Sowa and Sylvain Savoia sont nommés pour Marzi (Marzi : A Memoir – Vertigo/DC) » (source BDgest).

  1. C’est dommage je trouve de voir des albums sortis il y a très longtemps en France dans la liste des nominés. Quand on voit Bulles et Nacelles, on se dit qu’Abélard c’est vraiment un cran au dessus, et qu’en plus c’est carrément plus récent.
    Dommage.

    1. D’un autre côté, si Bulles & Nacelle a permis de faire connaître Renaud Dillies outre-Atlantique… on peut se dire qu’Abélard mettra moins de temps à être traduit là-bas. Donc peut-être dans la prochaine sélection ?? (allez, on va croiser les doigts ^^)

  2. C’est chouette de voir que les Français sont bien représentés, même si ce n’est pas forcément avec des titres récents 🙂 Je n’ai lu qu’un seul titre listé (Kinky & Cosy) mais je viens d’emprunter Habibi et j’ai Locke & Key, The unwritten et Vietnamerica dans ma PAL !

    1. Mon libraire m’a plusieurs fois conseillé « Vietnamerica »… j’ai décliné faute de moyens… et je crois (honte à moi) qu’on a « Locke & Key » à la maison. Il faut que je me renseigne auprès de Monsieur Comics ^^
